      Καλή η dd αλλά έχει ΠΟΛΛΑ μειονεκτήματα. Πχ δεν υποστηρίζει resizing και διαφορετικές γεωμετρίες μεταξύ source-destination και δεν έχει ανοχή σε λάθη.

      Γιαυτό βγήκαν projects όπως το Clonezilla ενώ αρκετοί (μεταξύ τους και εγώ) χρησιμοποιούν σε πολλές περιπτώσεις το παλιό καλό (αλλά proprietary) DOSάδικο Ghost.
